Mz Shy Keyz, from Ohio the land of funk and R&B where Bootsy Collins, Slave, Lakeside, and Dazz Band. Shy's music is a combination of R&B, and Funk with a hint of jazzy grooves.
My great grandmother knew early on that I was destined to become a musician someday. At age 12 I studied Music Theory at "The Rainey Institute of Music" in Cleveland, Ohio. I learned how to play various instruments throughout my junior high school years.
I have the ability to transpose various instruments and write music. In the 1990s I decided to start recording and mixing in my home studio. I also created beats. I worked in a few local studios as a Junior Engineer were started producing music for artists and local access TV stations.
